Flax seeds and flaxseed oil are rich in omega-3 fatty acids, particularly alpha linolenic acid (ALA), which have anti-inflammatory and moisturizing properties that may help soothe irritated skin. They also contain lignans, which are antioxidants that can contribute to protecting the skin from damage and may slow the appearance of aging, including wrinkles and fine lines. Flaxseed mildly exfoliates, removes dead skin cells for a brighter complexion, may reduce acne, and supports collagen production to maintain skin elasticity. Our “Flax Seed” round soap is a blend of walnut, cream, sea salt and sandalwood with flax seed oil and flax seeds.
